The satellite TV platform Viasat Ukraine, a joint venture with Strong Media Group, became the first licensed digital premium satellite operator in the country. Viasat Ukraine offers a wide range of Ukrainian, Russian and international third party channels, as well as Viasat’s six own branded pay-TV channels in the region.

Viasat OnDemand was launched as an online video streaming service only, in May 2007, providing a broad selection of feature films, live sports events and TV series for Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In October 2008 it also became the brand name for the on demand TV service through the recordable digital box ViasatPlusHD for Viasat subscribers in Scandinavia.
